I am pleased announce the release of a 10th Anniversary Edition of my first book, The New English Kitchen! See the new cover and press release below.
A decade after its original publication The New English Kitchen is still a kitchen essential – containing a wealth of recipes, tips and knowledge for anyone who wants to make good food go further.
You do not need to spend a fortune or hours slaving in the kitchen to eat well. In The New English Kitchen you will find over 280 easy and distinctive recipes for leftovers, cheaper cuts, and making nourishing meals from the simplest of components. It will guide you to smart shopping, storage and planning, to make your money go as far as possible. How to make a leg of pork stretch to seven meals (or 22 portions) or how to save by making your own bread – and using it up right to the crumbs. How to make delicious meals from simple store cupboard ingredients or make the most of fruit and vegetable gluts to save money and get produce at its best.
Thrifty, inventive and a book for our times, Rose Prince will help you discover that it is possible to eat well, and eat economically, without compromising on quality or the simple pleasure of eating good food.
