Both of Rose's books, The New English Kitchen and the Savvy Shopper, are available to order on this site. As we like small things we've plumped to do the despatching ourselves direct from home.
The despatch department is run by Rose's children, Jack, 14 and Lara 11 in order to earn some extra pocket money. They get paid �1 for every book they send out. There won't be any 'allow 28 days for delivery' provisos either. The nippers will send them out once a week, once we've got your cash the books will be on their way. So if you haven't got them within ten days let us know and we'll let them know. The foreman of the despatch department is Maria who has tended to the children's needs for the last ten years. Believe us, your books are in good hands. Of course if there's a mad rush we might have to revise the operation, but at the moment that's how your books will get to you.
There are two ways of paying. First, for those of you either baffled or scared of paying online by credit card there's the simple old fashioned method of sending a cheque, the details are below. For those of you who aren't, you can use your credit or debit card on the PayPal account we have, of which details below.
We think that people interested in Rose's work and books aren't mad on gimmicks, so here's the deal. There aren't any 'two for the price of one' offers or 'loyalty cards'.
The New English Kitchen is a tenner and the Savvy Shopper a fiver which we reckon is a pretty good discount as they'd normally cost �12.99 & �7.99 respectively. The books are all signed by Rose and, if you wish can be dedicated to someone, just let us know who.
They won't come in fancy packets because where possible the despatch department uses re-cycled packaging - your name and address will be written out by hand and the envelopes maybe stuck together with tape and string. Charming and a little quaint, we're sure you'll agree.
